Sustainable Organic Gardening for Self Sufficiency
Sunday May 19, 2013 - Saturday May 25, 2013
A thorough and practical approach to growing our own
food; integrating organic,
permaculture, and bio-dynamic principles in
temperate climates.
Instructor: Dieter Bay, German trained landscape architect,
organic gardener, and horticulturalist.
This course will go through the entire process of designing, building
and planting a large organic garden. You will learn about and how
to utilize
permaculture principles in designing and building a self sufficient organic garden with, hugelculture,
designing and planting a food forest, aquaculture, terracing, composting, construction, equipment utilization, and more.
Cost: $550 per participant
Costs includes: Camping, 3
vegetarian meals per day plus snacks.
Parents with children welcome, child care included.
Course is limited to 12 participants.
