Contour Lines Corp is looking for permies to plant agroforestry projects.  Contour Lines provides grants of FREE TREES and technical assistance including site design and training to help folks establish agroforestry systems quickly and efficiently.

Our organization was born out of the WWOOF program.  Since 2018 we have planted over 2 million trees with small farmers in Guatemala, Honduras, and the United States.  We have posted a very simple application on our website and encourage folks to apply for our Agroforestry Tree Planting Grant.

This sounds awesome Thomas!

How are you deciding what to plant in different ecosystems?

Are you focusing on a wide variety of trees - I've been reading too much lately about failed mono-culture reforest attempts. When economic return is the *only* metric considered, humans have difficulty planting a forest for the trees... Soil health, human health, and overall planet health is supported by polycultures.

If you had an acre on Southern Vancouver Island, what would you plant?
