I'm getting conflicting info about whether to use galvanized metal or Galvalume for roofing with rain catchment in mind. A very experienced
permie friend tells me that Galvalume will eventually start leaching out aluminum and zinc. Zinc - good, aluminum - bad. I checked
online and found that Galvalume coating is 55% aluminum and zinc. But then, I went to
Brad Lancaster's website and he recommends it in his roofing section. Any thoughts?
