Is there any reason to use a pressure reducer on t-tape if I'm going to be watering a very large area? I am tending a garden that has 5 watering stations, each with a 10 psi reducer and a few hundred feet of drip tape coming off of each station. Can I just get rid of the psi reducers and have one high pressure flow feed the whole system through a single station? Why does one need to take a high pressure, split it up, and reduce the pressure?

update. No need for a pressure reducer if the "zone" is big enough.
