Sandor,Hello

I have tried to ferment grated carrots with ginger twice now with no success....after a week or so kept under brine they are tastless. Would you share pointers for me,please?
Kombucha tea made with only green tea bags never gets fizzy and does not obtain an acid sharpness for me...any ideas?
And, I can still get cabbage ferments which lack flavour??

Thanks for being who you are
and
'wild

Best wishes
Kate

I don't know anything about the fermented tea, but I'm certain that your veggies are bland because they are too young and haven't developed any flavour yet. Put them some place a bit warmer and wait another couple weeks.
