Hey, thanks for reading my post. My name is Maggie, and I have several years of experience homesteading in Central Coastal California (including goat milking/cheese making, fermentation, gardening and tree care), have spent 3 seasons working for a small organic veg farm in northern NY, and offer seasonal fruit tree pruning (and boast amateur arborist skills with climbing gear).

The last several years I put my "real life" on hold to obtain my biology degree back in my hometown on the Eastcoast... with one more semester to go, I am looking forward to hitting the road, heading back west, and seeing what awesome people I can connect with.

I prefer to sleep outside in my tent, have high energy, like to eat real food, enjoy challenging my brain and am always eager to learn new skills.

I adore ecstatic dance, playing with barbells, swimming in ponds and rivers, hiking through the woods, cold water, saunas, botany, critters, and being silly.

If you have a patch of land you'd like to share for a day or a month in exchange for good company &/or help with some work, I would love to hear from you.

If you are traveling east to west, you are welcome to stop by for as long as you wish. Lots of camping space and several cabins available.

~One thing though, I know little about electronics. You might want to think about whether you should be carrying whatever that thing is, around your neck.
Could it affect your thyroid? Might not be a good plan.

We're happy and healthy here. Lots of gardens, animals. We're planting (lots more) fruit trees today and tomorrow. It's a good time of year to be in by the fires and do some baking and tea drinking.

Welcome to Permies Maggie! It sounds like you would be a great contributor wherever you choose to go. If ever in the far NW corner of CA or SW OR (the Wild Rivers and Redwood coast) send me a PM. Hopefully we will have our guest tiny house ready and available, and if not I could try to find a you another cool place to stay with friends from the Wild Rivers Permaculture Guild. Best of luck, and good journey to you!

What you said that really caught my eye other than everything you said that indicates an intellect was "good company". Not so easy to find. Present and pleasant are two qualities that I appreciate.
I tell you what. If you make it this far north. I'll give you a place to pitch a tent or a shack to stay in for a night at least. Best of luck on your adventure. Be safe and have fun.
