Would be interested in knowing about what it costs to move in, and about what it will cost a month. Willing to work also. We are in Denver, but willing to move.
I have tried looking through directories of ecovillages, but they all seem to be very reluctant to mention such costs. I find this frustrating since that is a critical element.
Have you written an email asking about it?
Sometimes for reasons I dont understand pricing is kept off the web sites,
when I look at machinery, houses etc any site that has POA [ price on application] I write an email explaining I dont want to buy their item if they cannot realise a web site is a great marketing tool.
And asking people to make contact is old school stupid!
The Molina Center is up for sale: While it's not entirely an 'EcoVillage' it does have the foundation to become retreat/event Center that can expand within the approved masterplan that allows for a large Convention/living center and some more units. Right now it is probably best suitable for a Land Coop of 8 or so dedicated stewards with a shared vision. The owner is entirely amicable to doing so. But this is a project that is on a time basis as the owner wants to move from it as soon as possible: It's not cheap but with the right people, it's pretty amazing.
