As we get started, arrangements will be less formal.
I think that as we settle into the second year, things will be more formal.
Some people will bring few skills, and some people will bring big skills. Some people will want to play a large part in our efforts and some people will play a small part.
I cannot help but think that as we settle into the space, new arrangements will be thought of and old arrangements will evolve.
My earliest thoughts were that people coming onto the land would be debt free, have a safety net in the bank, and have a
residual income stream for their monthly personal money needs.
Now I think that some people will gladly pay rent while they work (on land) on their own income streams, and other people will need to receive an income stream from me in order to take responsibility for an aspect. By year ten this could be a professional wage. But in year two, this will probably be something like $800 to $1000 per month.
In year one, finances are going to be extra, extra tight as things get started. So year one is going to be extra challenging.
I am thinking that a good plan is to come up with a list of kickstarters and other projects that will keep the income stream coming in to pay for projects and support the skilled folks.
I think folks that are still working on building up their skills will probably receive something closer to $30 per week.
At the same time, some folks will be strongly independent and will rent a couple of acres from me.
