we have very little money to spend on supplies ..at least right now..but would like any information on how we could power a generator of some type from our wood boiler in the winter time..

right now the boiler heats water with antifreeze in it that is pumped by elec through pex to heat exchangers that are in the furnace areas and the furnace fans blow heat off the heat exchangers...we are also in the process of hooking up the heat exchangers to heat the water in the house..but right now it isn't working very efficiently so that needs work..

but to be able to run a generator of some type is a real dream
