I was wondering if anyone has harvested the seeds.....I guess like most seeds and nuts they have a higher caloric density than other parts of the plant....and they're here before summer whereas we need to wait until august at the earliest for other plants to give up their nuts

Usually the goldfinches get there first! I've been collecting the seed from large flowered dandelions, but harvesting the seeds to eat is an interesting idea. Cleaning them may be a challenge too.

The dandelions don't grow here though when we lived where they grew the seeds blew away before I knew it.
