Washing machine conversion hydro

Do we have this type of washer in the states?
I don't remember seeing this type of stator...

I like the drill to turn off the valve.. but seems like a sprinkler valve would be simpler...

I've got one in the basement that might get a second life once it quits. 12 years so far and still doing good. Really simple design with only a few moving parts, so they last. It might be hard to find one at the dump, but I've seen them at second hand stores a few times. They were sold for quite a few years at Lowes, but I think they left the US market for washers. They still sell high end dishwashers and cooktop/ovens.

Joe B. : While I had seen this video before, a simple google search convinced me that this Washer had never been sold by an American Appliance Dealers Group !
Because I know what happens when you assume something I will ask you directly, to the best of the memory of you and yours, did you got your washer at Lowes ?

I did indeed get it at Lowes, but I believe a few other places had them. I was impressed by the capacity vs cost and the 1000 rpm spin speed (less time drying). I've also seen a few youtube vids on converting the motors to windmills. May be worth a search?
