Transplanted some overwintered house plants into larger pots.  I've become the neighborhood rescue center for unwanted or extra plants. (please don't spread that information, it does not go well with the grumpy old man image)
Before the eclipse, lifted the three year old bee balm for several folks who said that they wanted some.  Still so scrawny that I couldn't cut through with the shovel, had to chop away with the point only.
It was partly cloudy most of the day here in central Virginia, no view of the eclipse.  It did get darker and the temp really went down at full eclipse.
