Playing with Pinterest

Howdy folks,

Don't know if you know this but we have a Pinterest account http://pinterest.com/permies/

It is really a lot of fun, and thanks to the people that have already been actively posting stuff from the site TO Pinterest already.
You can see all the great stuff already posted from the Permies forum on Pinterest here http://pinterest.com/source/permies.com/

So all you Pinterest lovers out there. Hope you will go and LIKE, Comment and RePin what is already there..as well as keep adding fun stuff on there that you find here.

If there are any of you that have a HUGE following on Pinterest now..let me know and we can collaborate and cross pollinate each others stuff.

For those that are not familiar with Pinterest it is a HUGE thing now..and it is growing quickly... Here is a great article about it if you are into doing social media or just are curious

You'll reach a lot more people, faster, if you set up a Pinterest account, sort your posts to separate Boards. Then you'll have the "Follow All" button, which lets folks convieneintly save all boards to visit at another time.

I was surprised how much great content from permies has made it's way to Pinterest. Awesome!

We do have a pinterest account and boards http://pinterest.com/permies/boards/ we have 23 boards with 200 pins and 237 followers as of today.

If you looked at that other link I posted that was a subset of what OTHERS have pinned from Permies.com it self.

So I hope you will come and like OUR boards..and please feel free to make suggestions about boards we should have.

Also if YOU have a large following of your own..please let me know and we can do some board collaboration.

I have been amazed at ALL the Permies and Permaculture Boards that are out there.. I spent 2 hours JUST in that category alone on Pinterest..some great stuff is percolating

I did not realize how MANY permaculture boards there are on Pinterest... HOLY MOLY... Here is a whole mess of pictures about Hugelkultur You may need to have a Pinterest account to see these. Here is a very nice spiral project someone posted.
