I’m so satisfied with this harvest. It may seem meager to some but as a first time four corn harvest, I’m thrilled!
It’s mostly, “Big Horse” and some “Hopi purple”.
The Big Horse seed from Baker Creek did better for me and I attribute that to having different types of beds. I did not put as deep a soil mound in the area prepared for the Hopi so it seemed very stunted and there for succumbed to more pest pressure.
I look forward to saving some of my big horse seed for next year! What joy!

I really want to make tortillas with it. Hopefully I have enough for a couple batches of those.
