Any other Homestead Docu-Series type shows like "The Wilsons on Wilson" on YouTube?

Hey everyone, Im new to the forum. I'm excited to learn from all of you!

Hoping some of you have found similar youtube channels to The Wilsons on Wilson? Ive been OBSESSED with that channel. It's a documentary series thats just been a breath of fresh air as far as the homesteading genre goes. Feels like something that should be on Netflix, ESPECIALLY their year one documentary.

Anyone else found any other channels like that? Plenty of tutorial channels out there, but i really appreciate sitting down and watching something entertaining while learning.

I really liked Justin Rhodes' earlier youtube stuff. I also loved his Great American Farm tour youtube series, which turned into a documentary. I stopped watching a lot of his newer stuff, it just wasn't what I was looking for. He has a streaming channel now that is supposed to have some pretty good stuff. I have not had a chance to check it out.

I've heard mixed reviews of Justin Rhodes, havent really checked him out. is it worth giving a shot? the earlier stuff? Definitely heard people not like his newer stuff, but I dont know much about why.

For me, I liked watching things get established. That was his early stuff. Then he got big and things got more commercialized. The farm was more established, and less of the starting out type stuff. I just didn't care for it. Not that it was bad stuff, just not what I was looking for. I would absolutely recommend the "Great American Farm Tour" and his early stuff. Then you can decide if you like the later stuff yourself.

Oh yeah okay I hear yah. That was some of the charm of the wilsons for me. The year one documentary showed the transformation right from the beginning.

I’ll take a peek and see if there’s something in the Justin Rhodes catalogue that speaks to me.
