I live in a wooded area (central St Louis County MN)...and I have these vines in abundance. Most of the time they are growing in a thick mass. I chose this picture because it is easy to see the detail of the 6 leaf configuration. Anyone know what it is?...or where I can find out what it is?

I would guess that's some kind of bedstraw (Galium). Do the plants cling to clothes when you put a sprig of it in contact? I think some, at least, are medicinal.

Thank you, Alder and Linda. I think you are correct about it being some type of bedstraw (Galium). I've done some checking and it looks like it might possibly be Stiff Marsh Bedstraw or White Bedstaw. I have never seen them with flowers, so I'll have to watch to try to determine for sure what type it is.

Not so fast naughty spawn! I want you to know about
