Good evening

I'm seeking to expand my off grid living skills to one day own a homestead. I also enjoy learning new skills and have a keen interest in sustainable energy, particularly solar and hydroelectricity. I would like to be an apprentice of sorts to anyone willing to teach and share their land in exchange for labor. Thus far, I am a good gardener, cook, cleaner, and salesperson. I have minimal construction experience. I am a quick learner and have a strong work ethic. I enjoy living in the wildnerness or rural areas. I've dibble dabbled with intentional communities/wwoofing, and have a lot of experience boondocking. I am mainly looking around the Hillsborough/Orange County area but also open to expanding around North Carolina.

Feel free to reach out if you or anyone you know would be interested in a mutually beneficial arrangement. Any community resources to get into connection with like-minded folks is also welcome.

Thank ye

I am interested in exchanging work for accommodations; spring, summer, fall 2025.
Preferably Western North Carolina.

regards,
-Donnie
