Hi! We're a small startup organic homestead/flower farm in Southwest Florida looking for farm help for the winter in exchange for housing in our private guest house. Studio guest house is fully stocked and furnished with everything you need to live comfortably! We're looking for help starting sometime in Jan through March 2025 (dates flexible). Tasks include caring for our 5 goats while we're out of town as well as watering the flowers. The work is pretty simple and straight forward and takes less than 1 hour each day to feed and change water. They live in raised/moveable goat houses so no mucking or heavy cleanup other than throwing down fresh pine shavings occasionally. We also have 2 mini cows and 2 donkeys but they live off the pasture and pond, so other than checking their supplemental water troughs every couple days, they're self-sufficient. When we're in town, work will be mostly help with various low-impact (no heavy duty lifting) tasks around the farm as needed. About 15 work hours per week total.

As for the area we live in beautiful Charlotte County, a harborside community that is one of the last uncrowded, not overdeveloped oceanside towns in Florida. We're surrounded by gorgeous island beaches with torquoise water and all the activities you could ever want including sailing, paddle boarding, cruises, bike paths, tennis & pickle ball courts, world class restaurants, 5 star resorts, tons of tiki bars and so much more!

Looking for someone dependable, fit/active and self-starting. We can accommodate up to 2 people, so couples are welcome but no pets please. No smoking or drug use.

Please leave your email here with some info about yourself and we'll reach out.
