Hi, we are a clean, quiet and respectful couple looking for a great space in the norcal area or Costa Rica...
Between us we have 2 yoga teacher certs., 4 permaculture certs and lots of community, gardening, farming and carpentry experience. This is a rough request and we will be happy to give more details.

looking for a space that we can garden, and possibly trade some work for discounted rent (though this is not needed)

I have a lot of experience with greenhouses and aquaponics, if you are interested in year round, super clean and crazy productive food production....

Hello Jah Free, So nice to see your post. I have been thinking about somehow finding help or partners. I have lots of work, that's not so bad. Would be great having people here to help watch and help, maybe I could get away for a few days at times. I have a huge aquaponics system, fish tank is about 13,000 gallons. One 20 by 40 greenhouse. Had planned on more greenhouses. I am not real good with the greenhouse plants yet, could definitely use help in this area. I have planted every fruit tree I could find here. There are chickens, sheep, pigs and ducks, and I need to catch a bunch of tilapia out as some are quite big. Have started on swales and drainage aspects. Have a commercial kitchen for value added products and the raw materials are starting to produce well. I have about 10 acres, about half left as jungle. Located in Costa Rica on the tip of Nicoya peninsula. There is surfing nearby at santa teresa. Lots of different beaches within 20 miles. It really is incredible here. Local hotels want me to do farm tours. It has been a lot of work getting to this point and lessons learned. Would be very glad to share with some nice people.

Jacob, We have a few acres in Los Gatos just South of San Jose - probably the closest permaculture homestead (or at least wannabe permaculture homestead) to San Jose that exists. We just moved here 6 months ago and we're just getting started with house repairs, trees, gardens, etc. We have 4 goats and 2 pigs which we rotate around w\ electric netting to eat the weed bushes as we start to clean up the land. I would love to learn how to build an aquaponics system and there is plenty of space for a garden. There may be an option to park a travel trailer if you would be interested in that. Please message me if you are interested in discussing futher. When were you thinking of coming here and how long were you planning to stay?
