I started prepping a little in the wake of covid ...here are some pinto beans stored since 2021.

Notes: black eyed peas and lentils taste better than pinto beans after 1 to 3 years in storage.

I started planting the pinto beans last year and they grow.  Great tasting when fresh.  Future prepping will be peas, lentils, rice, and quinuoa

To store in beer bottles, wrap enough salt to cook them in paper napkin and store in bottle with twist top.   The salt also soaks up excess moister in the bottle.
