2 days ago I deleted an okcupid profile that I had for a long time - longer than I'd like to admit. It worked occasionally, and I even took a break for a decade, but maybe I've been looking in the wrong places?
I'm an older solo parent with a younger child, and I've always been a "hippie" at heart. Spent a fair few of my younger years travelling,
WWOOFing, did a PDC in my 20s, searching for the right community. Got distracted, and had been
city based for a good while, which changed in 2020 when I moved off grid for 2 years, which I really liked, but have been back on-grid since 2022. I live rurally and do a bit of
gardening, very keen on EVs, alternative technology especially efficient solarpunk style solutions, and am trying to work out my best direction in the mid-near future.
I'm not averse to relocating and that is possible/relatively easy as there is no dad in the picture, but I think the region I'm in is pretty good, so not really looking to go far though could be persuaded for the right person & situation.
I'm a qualified yoga instructor though haven't been practising for a while, and am atheist but lean somewhat Buddhist in philosophy.
Have been keen to build my own house, have done a ton of renovations, keen painter and tiler, would love to do earth
berm / earthship and always wanted a tiny house.
