This is round 1. The nominations came from this thread. That same thread contains the detailed particulars of the selection process - including more information on the nominees. This is to select the queens for the deck of permaculture playing cards for this kickstarter.

I first thought the criteria should be "Who, from this list, has provided the most innovation to permaculture?" and now I am thinking the best questions is "Who, from this list, best fits this deck as permaculture queen?"

You may vote for as many as you like. Just a thumbs up.

I vote for Vandana Shiva...Not around from the beginning, but she is literally saving lives with her stand against Monsanto and helping her people and the world to grow "safe" and "well".
