Hi I am Donanne in Maine. I have been creating my permaculture homestead since 2011 and I grew up on a permaculture homestead. I have my advanced PDC. I have started an Eco Retreat opening this year. We offer cabin , yurt and campsite rentals and we do healing and permaculture retreats here. Please check out our website. We do work trade and have an apprenticeship program.

Donanne grew up on a Maine homestead off grid without power. She has studied under Tom Brown Jr wilderness survivalist and Shamen. She has her PDC (Permaculture Design Certification) and Advanced PDC with Charles and Julia Yelton (students of Bill Mollison himself) Here is what she has to say: We grew up using kerosene lanterns, gravity fed water and cooking on a wood stove. My family practiced living in harmony (permaculture) before we had ever heard of permaculture. We had huge gardens and fruit trees. My dad told me “We are all one.” and this philosophy has stuck with me my whole life. I believe through our communication with Nature we have access to all universal knowledge. When we sit still and are silent we are able to listen to our Source connection. When we have spent enough time in nature we develop an intimate relationship with the animals, bugs, plants, soil, trees and landscape. When we “tune in”, we become part of the whole and we can just feel what should be done next. With in this awareness all possibilities exist Including healing from all diseases.
