Hi all,

I spent the last 6 months or so building a pretty comprehensive firewood calculator, I am posting it here in the hopes some of you find it useful.

I just released a big update to it today and it is I hope pretty close to done.
- Supports Imperial and Metric
- Supports mixed wood stacks (up to 4)
- Custom data built specifically for firewood (I spent entirely way too many hours doing this, you can read about it here: - https://boisafeudunord.com/.../how-i-built-my-firewood.../ )
- Supports setting wood stove efficiency
- 119 types of firewood supported
- Supports wet and dry wood (affects weights and BTU)
- Energy comparisons in output (electric, propane, oil, natural gas)
- You can email yourself the results

Calculator is here: https://boisafeudunord.com/tools/firewood-calculator

If you want a wood added let me know, currently have honey-locust on the list of to add. It is free I am not promoting or anything, figured a good first post to share something hopefully useful.

That calculator is good, you can see what equivalent fuel types you are replacing.
And it has Australian timbers as well.

Thank you ❤️ I shared it on my X feed.

She's brilliant. She can see what can be and is not limited to what is. And she knows this tiny ad:
