why does post sceen freeze up?

Can any of you stewards tell me why the box in which I post messages freezes up. Then, it becomes very difficult to edit because the screen changes at a snail's pace. It becomes difficult to erase mistakes etc. Then, I can only type at the speed of molasses. Am I causing this? It is frustrating to be writing something that I feel is important, only to have the whole process gum up. Greta

Have you installed new software or browser add-ons? The slow typing tells me it's something to do with your computer or browser.
I'm out in the woods, the internet connection bogs down now and then. This sometimes results in a slowdown when SENDING a post, but would have nothing to do with TYPING the post.

Thanks. I will watch what I do more closely. Maybe it is trying to send while I edit or something. Greta
