Owning Land (One Inch at a Time)

This podcast had an interesting idea that might be useful for procuring land with other peoples money. Perhaps best for a nonprofit who's goal is to buy buy buy land to prevent it from being developed.

This is comparable to getting on of those deeds for a parcel on the moon. Which I will admit that I once bought an acre on the moon for my wife, along with a star, and gave them both to her framed for her birthday. I said something like, "I got you the moon and the stars!".

Yes, it was corny. Yes, the deed is practially useless. Yes, My wife was amused, but also irritated that I spent money on something so impractial. I didn't bother to mention how impractial a dozen roses were.
