This stump serves as a seat and as a gauge of how long Douglas Fir takes to rot when not covered in soil.

I built the driftwood bench 9 years ago. I built about 20 with an average selling price of $250. The first sale occurred on the beach on day 2 of my bench building trial. Storage quickly became an issue, since they were very bulky.

For some reason, everybody slides to the right. And, I don't know how to flip photos from my phone.
