Yes!
There has been sooo much rain.
I am actually very happy to hear this!
I plan on propagating the blankety blank out of this plant, and I was worried it was infected with/susceptible to something.
I have access to a grove of elderberry plants at my community garden and free reign to take cuttings.
There is also a local permaculture nursery selling varieties at what seem to be reasonable prices.
I like to propagate and these plants seem as easy to propagate as raspberries.
I will try to keep track of varieties, but I honestly am terrible at that.
Apparently some cultivars have downward facing flowers, which might help resist excess rain.
I am more and more interested in getting better strains of a given plant.
Better yields can mean the difference between people enthusiastically gathering a resource vs. leaving it for the birds.
