I grew up with a massive tulip popular at my grandparents house when I was young. It is incredible how big and straight the trunks can grow. They ended up cutting it down when I was a teen and it must of been nearly six foot around. It has been years and the stump has been a consistent producer of all sorts of fungi. The owner of the arborist company turned a bowl make of the poplar and gifted it to my grandfather. Such beautiful wood.
I had no clue that tulip poplar has a medicinal value. Thank you for another great video.
