Hey permies! I'm Daniel, a 23 year old hailing from Salt Spring Island, BC in Canada. On October 22nd I will be arriving in Eugene, Oregon with my bicycle and gear with the intent to ride through Oregon and California, and possibly into Mexico over a three month period. I'm interested in permaculture and farming in general and would love to see some of the operations in Oregon and California. I would like to do this in the Wooffing style, where I provide labour in exchange for room and board. I am hardworking, conscientious and have experience in organic farming and carpentry and construction (see my profile). I know a lot of farmers are sort of put off by Wooffers, and we had some at the farm I worked at on Salt Spring that were less than ideal, but I can promise I will be a positive addition to your farm, especially if given the chance to learn how your farm operates. I would be willing to work ~4 hours per day in exchange for room and board, and would willing to stay anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. I would definitely be happy to put in a full days work for payment as well if that interests you more. If you have something available please contact me at Thanks to the empire for letting me get the word out!
and POOF! You're gone! But look, this tiny ad is still here:
