Looking to Host My Chickens Somewhere Close to Philadelphia During Spring and Summer 2014

I will be away and I need my chickens taken care of. Has to be free range.

I cant really thk of anything else that i should include here.

Questions, ideas? Thanks

Might be helpful if you said how many chickens there are.
Also, are these chicks, or grown birds that will be producing eggs, or even meat birds.

Are you asking for a farm to take your chickens there or for a person to come to your place and care for them?

It's tricky to bring new birds to live with an established flock. There could be disease issues and/or fighting.

Maybe there is a farm out there which has lost all its chickens to predators and has an empty coop...

Ah good points. I am looking for a farm, and its only 5 chicks.

Are they all hens? Are they for the purposes of Laying? When you say chicks, how old will they be? Do you want them raised from day-old chicks (as in you need them in a brooder first) or will they be older than that?

Would you supplement feed or expect the host to supply it?
