PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR : Joy Opportunity In Palawan, Philippines..

Join TeaSources as a Project Co-ordinator in February 2014. We are looking for a bright, energetic, proven ‘good organiser’ with a practical outlook and passion for Organic Gardening.

This project is set in the Palawan Care Centre, home to twelve young girls who have suffered abuse and difficulty. So far, the centre has been funded entirely by donations raised by the Association Alouette, with regular presence of voluntary help.

As well as attending school, the girls also take part in tending to the centre and gardens. already abundant in Peanuts, Bananas, Papayas, Jackfruits, Coconuts, Aloe, Cucumber and Chili Peppers.... TeaSources Europe are sponsoring transitioning these gardens completely to organic. We will also sponsor the planning and building of an Ecolodge with the long term aim of encouraging income streams to fund the life and well-being of the centre and those who live there.

The natural farming project .
The creation of the Centre of Palawan is a success ; it's now necessary to sustain it, thus ensuring the security, well-being, health and the education of these young girls. Among the projects in progress, the natural farm takes a special place. It includes a pig breeding (waste will operate biogas that will supply cooking gas), a goat farm, chickens, ducks, protected animals (monkeys and others).
Your job will be to carry out these objectives in direct liaison with Tea Sources. The project will include teaching and creating healthy compost and making the wormery active as well as organizing and costing the most economical but effective creation of the ecolodge. You will communicate well with young people and also enjoy blogging regularly about the progress of this project.

The minimum commitment is six months with 50% of the air fare paid in advance plus a monthly allowance. If you stay for a year and successfully complete the remit a bonus payment will also be made.

Contact us if you are interested in this opportunity~ with details of your experience and the names of two referees who are happy for us to contact them. We can then arrange a Skype interview teasources@live.fr

We would welcome any advices and welcome volunteers with permaculture skills .

That's a very big dog. I think I want to go home now and hug this tiny ad:
