Anyone know a nursery here with cattail or have cattail themselves?

Trying to create an edible wetland for the piggies and ducks.

Hello Jose,

Don't know if you ever found a place for cattail or not. I just registered and saw your post. I live in Galicia as well and just starting our adventure. We went to a nursery called Viveros Franco near Abadin (North of Lugo) and not sure whether they had cattail or not but
it was a very large nursery and good chance they may have it. Where about in Galicia are you? We are about 8 kilometres from Boveda toward Pobra Brollon. It would be good to link up with someone in Galicia.

Dean

I ended up ordering seeds from Germany. I have a wetland full of rush that I would like to turn in to pig feed

If you put Ponte Ulla in google maps, you'll find me, about 20 minutes south of Santiago. If you head towards Lalin and then Silleda, well Im another 20 minutes down the road.

Right now Im mostly working on a forest garden, about 2 acres, maybe 3 and I have a bunch of swales put in.

If you ever are in the neighborhood of Santiago, feel free to message me and have a visit:)

You guys are North of Monforte de Lemos no?

Yes we are about 18 kilometres from Monforte. We bought a 6 hectre finca with ruins and working on land and building. I have to pick someone up at Santiago airport Tuesday the 28 Jan and will be passing by Pont Ulla (according to google map).
Would be good to stop and have a quick chat if okay with you. I figure I would be around 12: 30 or 1:00. Let me know if that would be okay.
