Hi! My name is Nancy. My boyfriend and I are leaving northwest florida at the end of the month and heading for the Pacific Northwest! Our long term goal is to start a homestead of our own, so we'd like to get some more hands-on permaculture and farming experience this year! We're hoping to find a farm to host us (and possibly our cat) for the season! We're looking for something in Colorado, Oregon, or Washington, but we're open to other opportunities! With that said, we'd like to wwoof our way there from Florida, spending a week or two here and there on farms along the way. We'd really like to spend some time near Austin, TX.

Aside from self sufficiency, I'm into music, history, cooking, baking, and travel. Mike is a roots musician and would be happy to play some tunes around the campfire in the evenings (and play gigs in town)! Mike speaks Spanish fluently and yo hablo un poco. We're both very passionate about food politics and ethically sourced food.

We'd love to get to know you and spend some time on your farm or homestead! Please get in touch if you are interested in hosting us!

Hi Nancy,
We have a fledgling permie farm in NW arkansas. We have comfortable accomadations for a couple. We would not be able to host anybody until May. Room and board for a week or two in exchange for some help 5 partial days of the week. We will be building hugelculture beds, preparing for a greenhouse, finishing up an outdoor bathroom. And more projects. If you are interested send me a pm.

If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses - Henry Ford. Tiny ad:
