I wrote "The Truth About Simple Unhooked Living" to fund my backwoods living efforts and to share practical tips and techniques for living in the Northwest woods without corporate power and running water. If you are embarking on the simple life in the woods and have not previously lived this way, do yourself a favor and get the book. It's only $3.99 and the first few chapters can be downloaded free. I'd intended to do a print version, but when I sent the manuscript to Gray Dog Press in Spokane (an awesome indie press that publishes my other book "The Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes Unofficial Guidebook") the editor--probably a city guy--wasn't really interested. However, he said I should embellish the parts about how surviving simply in the woods is quickly becoming illegal. So, I took his advice. That's how the somewhat angry polemic slipped into the first four chapters. These first four chapters also reveal the thinking that led me into this lifestyle, misunderstood and disdained by the masses. The rest of the book covers how my cohorts and I lived happily and well without pipes and wires for more than 14 years. I hope you enjoy the book and leave a nice review. I want to do a print version sometime, with updates about all the useful information I've amassed during the past few years. It would help if people weigh in on this question -- do you prefer e-books or print? Here's the book: https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/149531?ref=KIYAMETGERCEKLIGI
