Hello...my husband and I will be going off grid in Idaho in spring 2018. We have done a lot of research and believe we have what it takes although we will be asking for advice. We started a YouTube channel for people to follow but we have never done videos before.  I will include the link below if anyone is interested but please let us know what you think.
It's really scary and exciting thinking about this life change and only hope we succeed. We have a lot to do to get our house ready to sell and we still have to find property. Does anyone know of any property for sale in northern Idaho? We are looking for owner finance.

Good luck, I subbed to your youtube and look forward to watching your journey.

I too am working on my own off grid homestead project, having just gotten 40 acres of raw land. So always interested in seeing what others are doing.

Hi Toni,

I did a video on my channel (Idaho homesteading but not off-grid) with my friend Gary who is building an off-grid ICF house in the Spokane area.

He also has his own YouTube Channel where he has been documenting his experience transitional to the life style.

Where in north Idaho are you looking to settle?

Thank you for subbing. Let me know what you think of the videos. It's been fun learning how to put them together.

Did you just start your homestead? 40 acres.....nice๐Ÿ‘

Hi Dan,

I really liked your video. The sheep are awesome! I will sub to your channel and to primal power.

We would like to be in the Coeur d'alene area. Living in Nevada is making it hard for us to just jump in the truck to go see property. We are hoping to find at least 3 properties to go look at.

Just wanted to throw this out there again ๐Ÿ˜œ

Does anyone have or know of any property for sale in the area of Coeur d'alene, ID. We are looking for 5+ plus acres with a spring or creek. Heavily wooded. Needs to be owned finance. We would have a down and will make monthly payments. The balance would be paid when we sell our house.

We plan on moving to ID in spring 2018 so we would like to obtain the property as soon as possible. Any leads would be great.

The novelty factor of a spring or creek is going to drive the price of a small lot through the roof.

The big question is, how close to 'town' do you want to be?

We don't want to be too close. 30min to an hour out is great.

Toni, have you checked out any of the listings at the "landwatch" website? Sometimes the sellers offer financing.

Would you consider the milder climate of Puget Sound?  No one has taken up y offer in my signature line. It doesn't have  a stream but it does have a winter pond from which to store water and I can offer back up water from my well.  It has a well draining sand/gravel hillside for an underground home and clay in the flood plain for cob.  It would require a lot of scotch broom clearing but then the soil will be very productive.  There is access to bring a tiny home to the property and there are some old trailers/moterhomes on the property as resources for parts.

Hi Hans,

I do not see a signature line. Maybe I need to be on desktop site and not mobile?

We have decided that we would like property in Bonner County, ID. If anyone knows of any property please hit me up. Same requirements as above. Thank you.
