I have seen footage where crows pick up nuts by the sidewalk, then set them in the street, and wait for a car to run over the nuts. Mealtime.

I saw a crow funeral once. About twenty crows standing around a deceased crow. Moving rhtymically and vocalizing in an organized way. I was a student of anthropology at the time, and remember thinking, 'isnt this sort of organized rituatl behavior a uniquely defining aspect of human culture'? Not quite. Crows have it too.

I also saw a huge crow gathering on the top of a 13k foot mountain in Colorado. Well over a thousand crows circling this mountaintop. There was something cultural going on there too.

Crows are amazing. Smart. and Cultured.
