Hello, I am new to the forums. I raised 25 Freedom Rangers last year for the first time in a chicken tractor that I moved around my yard 3 times a day. This year I am thinking of doing a paddock that I rotate once a week with my tractor at the center for shelter. I want to know what would be the smallest yard size I should have to accomplish this (depending what that is I will go bigger if space allows) and what type of non electric fencing (links appreciated) do you suggest. I have had hens for several years now that free range and I've never had a predator problem except my own dog when she gets loose (and she just likes to chase them). Thanks in advance!

I plan to do 25 birds.

Not looking good. I think this might be the end. Wait! Is that a tiny ad?
