This is why I am about to close on 3-4 properties in detroit, for just about 10k total. It may be too dangerous for me to want to go look at my property today, but whos to say what the place will be in 10 years. This looks pretty hopeful!

My 18 year old daughter has a pretty big fixation on Detroit.

She wants to go there to "help" but I think she should learn how to grow food before she goes.

She should learn self defence and first aid as well, good luck getting a cop or an ambulance to come.

Yeah, she's a little naive, thinking she can defend herself with a crochet hook. She's an 82 year old lady in an 18 year old's body. Not exactly "wild."

Awesome idea Dustin! There's a lot of really innovative projects happening in Detroit. Brother Nature Produce seems to be making tons of money on just a few acres growing salad mixes.

Every time I visit Detroit, I leave feeling inspired.
