Mine doesn't.

FYI, tho they say the pods are sweet like honey - DON"T try them when they're green or you'll get a shockingly nasty aftertaste that lingers. Eat them BROWN. Yeah.

I don't think I knew that the pods were even edible! I know the flowers are supposed to be sweet from the nectar though?
