I just found out today that May 4th is International Permaculture Day. According to their website there is only one event happening in North America, and that's in Ashville, North Carolina. I'm posting this in case anyone else did not know about it. Now we can start planning more events. What a great reason to throw a party!!!

Cool! That's one day after I officially become a squatter on the land I was born, raised, and still live one. You can bet your bottom dollar I'll be celebrating here. Permanent occupants for permanent cultures!

It appears it has been around for a couple of years. I believe it started in Australia. I saw it on Geoff Lawton's wife's facebook page and went and looked it up.
