Perhaps this question answers itself (the question IS the answer-- apologies to Bill Mollison), but can you buy natural plaster kits anywhere?

Yes...there are commercially available natural plasters and they are very good. I have used a product for finish plasters from American Clay. What I love about them is that they are easy to mix...just add water...and they are available in a wide variety of colors...really really cool colors. Check out the company's website. I like to make my own finish plasters but find that American Clay plasters are superior to mine in every way. You don't have to fuss for hours to get the color right and they go on like butter. I always feel a bit guilty using a commercially available product, but what the heck, they work and they make a very fine finish plaster.

Thanks, Dan. I live in Canada, so I will check the website to ensure they either have a presence here or can ship here.
