We all know and love the official short video about hugelkultur:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Sso4UWObxXg

So, knowing how lacking in English and new ideas are my country folk, I decided to add Hebrew subtitles to it [Select Language -> Hebrew]:
http://www.amara.org/en/videos/G2mtjgmrvcR9/info/hugelkultur-the-ultimate-raised-garden-beds/

Naturally, I shared it on local pages.

If possible, Paul or fellow permies personnel, could anyone add these subs to the youtube video, so that people can just choose the subs there? Amara.org is comfortable for subbing, but choosing the subs there is confusing to people. Here is the extracted subs in text formats (variety): https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/202001711/hugelkultur%20-%20hebrew%20subs.zip

I encourage others to sub and share.

Neat!

I have the ability to add subtitles. Youtube takes a certain kind of file. It takes me a few minutes to find the right spot to upload it, and then it is easy.

Awesome. I'm waiting to see it on the official video. Unless you need anything from me, for this?

The forum isn't letting me attach subtitle format files. ><

"Files with the extension .srt are not allowed as attachment in the message."

Amara don't produce .scc files, but they do produce .srt .sbv and a few other popular formats that do work with Youtube.

I'm not sure where Paul disappeared with this thread, so I went ahead and just reuploaded the video on my channel, with my subtitles, with a Hebrew title and description, and for all to enjoy.

She still doesn't approve of my superhero lifestyle. Or this shameless plug:
