A common sight in late summer, Red skies over Montana.
In my photos, the 500-acre Ulm Creek fire is burning over on the Idaho side of the Bitterroots.
Making for stunning sunsets.
So far this season, we have been lucky with occasional rain and not many lightning storms.
Luckily, September is here, and the rainy season is not far away.
