Aloha,

I just moved to Denver a few weeks ago and I want to connect with local homesteads and communities. I've been living communally the past 2 years in Alaska/Hawaii and discovered that i really groove with the partnership lifestyle.

So this is me extending a friendly greeting to the area-- if anyone needs a hand, i would love to pitch in to projects.

I'm especially interested in (but not limited to) earthen construction, aboriculture, wild harvesting, primitivism, woodworking, upcycling, forest gardening, animal husbrandry, honey bees, fermentation, alternative energy, wood burning stoves, sewing, etc.

Looking forward to connecting and weaving webs,

- Joey (28)

Hi Joey.  Consider hopping on ic.org because they have updated lists of communities in various locations, I think you might be able to find something phesible for you in CO on their database.

I know there’s an ic in Morrison, living in a large lovely old house. (Mansion?)

They have potlucks on Tuesday evenings ( I think).  To get to know people and prospective members when a room opens up.

It’s not a permaculture group, possibly more spiritual,  but they’re not anti permaculture.  They have a garden I think, and eat organic food

I don’t know much more than that.  Maybe you can track them down if they sound interesting to you.
