Living Off Grid author, Ryan Mitchell, was interviewed by the folks at The Provident Prepper.

What's great about Ryan's book is that he shows us that anyone can start a journey of self-reliance and off-grid living. He's not a gatekeeper and believes folks can take steps, however small, wherever they live.

Check out the conversation with the folks at The Provident Prepper and Ryan!

I will disagree with author, Ryan Mitchell some what that anyone can live off grid.

I know the above statement says anyone can start a journey of self-reliance and off-grid living.  But can anyone make it work?

Dear hubby and I tried it for one month.  I love that experience.

Dear hubby just couldn't keep from watching TV all day, or driving 30 miles to buy gas to keep the generator going, or to stock up on water.

Maybe Ryan addresses all of these.

I guess we didn't take the 50 steps.  We didn't buy where we could grow our own food whether plant or animal.

We didn't have solar or wind, just a generator.

I would suggest a trial run and maybe Ryan does too.

She'll be back. I'm just gonna wait here. With this tiny ad:
