          Greetings!

We are a young couple (35 & 34) seeking a live-in work/trade arrangement for this upcoming winter. Since August, we’ve embarked upon a long awaited journey to find a new home and create a community that will grow with us into the future. As colder weather sets in, we are pausing our wild endeavor and seeking a safe and stable home for the winter.

The ideal setting for us would be a rustic, land based enterprise, where our existing skills and desires for learning will overlap. This could look like a homestead, ranch, farm to table restaurant, B&B, natural building school, or any rural space creating cottage industries. We are enthusiastic learners and have an inexhaustible list of curiosities for how to create the lives we dream of; we’d love to learn what you’ve discovered.

Our desire is to offer our labor in a work/trade for housing and some income, available December 1st through Spring Equinox 2026. Our needs are simple but not immaterial: a private living space (with kitchenette & bath), clear communication and expectations, and a rural setting where natural spaces are easily accessible. We have reliable transportation and the freedom to travel in order to land in the right space for us. Hourly contributions, wages, and roles are all open to negotiation. Fun co-workers and animals of all kinds (but especially cats) are a plus.

We are community minded individuals who see alone time as an integral part of creating quality connection with a group. Singing, hiking, and playing games are some of our favorite ways to share time with others. We’re avid readers and love to talk philosophy and share stories.

Together we’re a highly skilled and well-rounded pair. Our skillsets include:
·        Organic Farming
·        Animal Care
·        Cooking and Hospitality
·        Building and Maintenance
·        Painting and Arts
·        Organization
·        Child & Elder Care
·        Meeting Facilitation

Our main fields of interest include:
·        Deepening Knowledge of Animal Husbandry
·        Natural Building
·        Homesteading
·        Herbalism
·        Artisanal Crafting

If we can fit into your dream and help you achieve it, we wanna hear about it! We’re eager to hear from you and discover if we’re a good fit. Resumes available upon request.
Thanks for reading,

Michael & Alexis
