I just followed a link to this video on an extremely late apple variety, which produces even in years when other varieties are killed by frost:

Court Pendu Plat

The host in that video has put up a lot of other good content on shelter belts, coppice polyculture, hedges, etc. I'm enjoying his information & sense of humor.
