I used to use Naturalamb condoms, which were made from lamb cecum derived from New Zealand and finished in the US by a subsidiary of the Trojan company.

They were not perfect, because they still used some questionable stuff in the stuff they put on them, but they were better than any other options on the market.

In the way of things, the company that owns Trojan quietly quit making them, probably mostly due to legal and health factors that would be suitable for discussion on another thread, in another forum.

There are, as far as I can tell, no other lamb or natural material condoms on the market right now in the US.

What do you all use for contraception?

Priority is natural material and natural substances.
Looking only for contraception - STI protection is not important, as usage is restricted to a monogamous relationship.

I know one option is the rhythm method of tracking ovulations and "just pulling out," which are both fine and good - but I'm still looking for a good natural condom.

Some good birth control ideas and a lot of interesting info here:

but I'm still looking for a healthy condom.

i ran this through perplexity and this is what it spit out.

Yes, lambskin condoms are still manufactured and available as a niche product in 2026. They remain popular among those seeking a natural, latex-free option for a more skin-like sensation, despite not protecting against STIs due to their porous membrane.

Current Manufacturers
Major producers include:

Church & Dwight (known for Trojan Naturalamb line).

Ansell and Sir Richard's, offering premium natural varieties.

Specialized brands like Shandong Geamay Latex Technology and Sagami Rubber Industries contribute to global supply.

Market reports project steady growth, with the lambskin segment valued at around USD 60-80 million and expanding due to demand for hypoallergenic, biodegradable alternatives.

Ansell apparently markets "natural latex" condoms, you can search on Amazon. So does Sir Richard's https://www.instagram.com/sirrichards/?hl=en
I didn't go much farther than that but there must be people with latex allergies who want alternatives, it might be worth further research. Good luck!

Your robot gave you out-of-date information.  C&D deliberately and quietly phased out late 2025 and as of 1.1.26 the internet is pretty well scrubbed.  You can find an expired $10 naturalamb condom on ebay still, but that's about it.

As far as manufactured products for the latex-sensitive, those are mostly poly-x products, with few exceptions.

I have had a general opinion that the natural latex ones on the market are not something I'm interested in.  I tried a few kinds several years ago, and I can't remember exactly what the problem was.  Maybe I should have another look.  Part of it is probably that I'm generally skeptical that the company that makes the primary latex product could have a remote possibility of providing a satisfactory alternative to their primary profit-maker.  Bit of a conflict of interest, and is not unrelated to naturalambs ceased production in the first place.
