Winter wood consumption report on Shorty Core

Well, its mid January, and historically winter is now 2/3rds over.
Although there will be random fires until June, by April 1st, I consider it time to start refilling the wood sheds.
This winter, Shorty core got her own one cord section in the wood shed.
With only a third of the burning season left, I am just starting to use the last third of her wood.
I have not been sparing on using wood; we like it warm, and Shorty is very happy to accommodate us.
Windows have been cracked open day and night all winter long.
It appears that Shorty will only use one cord this winter!
Previously, the old wood gobbler easily consumed three or more cords, and parts of the house were regularly chilly overnight.
Not anymore, my Montana Masonry heater with the new Shorty Core has cut our wood use by 2/3rds, and the house has never been more evenly warm!
